THE third and final KBB Suffolk FA Pre-Season Grassroots Festival takes place on Sunday.
The festival at Kirkley & Pakefield FC will bring a close to what has been a challenging but rewarding period of running three festivals in four weeks.
Suffolk FA Football Development Officer (Retention) James Morley, who is organising the festival, said: “The festival at Kirkley & Pakefield will be the second time we have run a festival at the club, with the last one taking place in 2019.
“This time around we welcome 40 plus teams aged between U7 and U14 from Suffolk and Norfolk to close off their preparations for the 2021-22 season.
“We are looking forward to rounding off our pre-season programme with our third festival taking place at Kirkley on Sunday. We enjoy being able to put on these festivals for everyone involved and we relish the opportunity to meet and communicate again with teams following the last two years.
“Like all the other festivals we have seen these as our opportunity to provide football in a fun environment and we want to carry on the momentum from the first two festivals at Kesgrave and Haverhill onto Kirkley.”
