Woodbridge Town FC are ideally looking for a qualified Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist who has experience of this role in a sporting environment who is available on Saturdays.
The main duties of the role will be to provide services to the players in the first-team squad including pre-match massage, applying strapping and taping and generally ensuring the well-being of the players before they go out onto the pitch.
During the game itself you would provide immediate on-the-pitch attention to any player injuries or incidents, so previous first aid experience would be beneficial.
After the game you may well do post-match massage and icing of injuries or further strapping. You would also need to be available midweek for either training sessions to assist with injured players giving treatment or delivering rehab programmes or for a midweek fixture.
Although this role is part time and under 20 hours per week there is a high level of commitment required to ensure that the squad is in the best possible shape throughout the season.
Pre-season training starts at the end of June 2023 and the league campaign begins at the end of July 2023 and runs through to April 2024.
Weekly expenses will be paid and any FA relevant courses will be funded.
The club may also recruit a Therapist with less experience than the above to assist the Physio/Sports Therapist.
Interested applicants please send your CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org
