NANDO’S are the winners of the 2021 Suffolk Sixes sponsored by Veo.
They topped the table after winning 13 and only losing one of their 14 games played over six Wednesday evenings at Ipswich Academy.
Needham Market, the only team to defeat Nando’s, and Ballotellitubies were joint second with 31 points each.
Suffolk FA County Support Officer Ruth Ward, who organised the tournament, presented Nando’s with the Suffolk Sixes Shield and a £100 voucher for the team to use at Nando’s.

A total of nine teams took part in the competition, which was shelved last summer due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ruth said: “It was great to see so many females playing in great spirits and in a nice, friendly environment.
“The standard was really high throughout the tournament which is great for female football in Suffolk and shows how well the female game is progressing in the county.
“Thanks to all the teams for taking part and also to the referees and, of course, Veo for sponsoring the Suffolk Sixes.
“It’s been really enjoyable and we look forward to running the tournament again in the future.”
