Veo Suffolk Sixes returning this year
ENTRIES are invited for this summer’s Veo Suffolk Sixes.
The popular six-a-side tournament for women’s teams is returning after not being able to take place last summer due to COVID-19.
The tournament will be sponsored for the first time this year by Veo, the portable solution to recording and analysing matches without the need for a camera operator.
Matches will be held on Wednesdays between 7pm and 9pm for six weeks at Ipswich Academy in Brazier’s Wood Road, Ipswich.
The tournament will start on June 9th and continue on June 16th, June 23rd and June 30th as well as July 7th and July 14th.
Suffolk FA Girls’ & Women’s Football Development Officer Rebecca Bolton said: “We are delighted to be able to announce the return of the Suffolk Sixes this summer, after having to cancel last year’s tournament.
“The Suffolk Sixes are not only a great way for players to keep fit during pre-season, but also for teams to prepare for the forthcoming campaign.
“That will be even more relevant this year after the enforced long break that some teams have experienced due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
The closing date for entries is Wednesday, May 26th.
