FOUR more adult teams have confirmed their places in Suffolk County Cup Finals.

A total of 20 of the 26 county cup fixtures scheduled for Saturday and Sunday went ahead, with the other six postponed by clubs due to Coronavirus.

A crowd of 346 saw Ipswich Town recover from going a goal behind early on to beat Needham Market 3-1 in the HomeStore Self Storage Suffolk Women’s Cup Semi-Final at Stowmarket Town FC.

The result puts Ipswich into their six successive final, but they will have to wait to see who they will face after Brett Vale requested their last-four tie with East Bergholt United be postponed.

Brandon Town Community will play Gym United in the final of this season’s Rushmere Golf Club Suffolk Sunday Cup – the first time they have reached the final of the competition.

They defeated Kitchener Taverners 4-2 on penalties following a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes in their rearranged semi-final at Bury Town FC.

Haverhill & Hove Albion, last season’s Suffolk Sunday Trophy runners-up, booked their place in the final of the Suffolk Sunday Shield in emphatic style, winning 7-0 against Sizewell Argyle at Ransomes Sports FC.

They will face Rushmere & Diamonds in the final after they beat Baltic United 3-0 in the other tie at Old Newton United FC.

The two outstanding quarter-finals of the Days Sports Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup saw victories for Lakenheath and Old Newton United.

Lakenheath won 1-0 away to Coplestonians while Old Newton United defeated last season’s runners-up Stowmarket Town 5-4 on penalties following a 3-3 draw.
