Suffolk Sixes are returning for 2024
THE Suffolk Sixes return next month.
The popular female six-a-aide tournament for players aged 16 and over is this year being sponsored by McDonald’s.
The tournament will start on the evening of Wednesday, June 5th and matches will once again be played at Copleston Sports Centre in Ipswich.
Fixtures will be held each Wednesday for five consecutive weeks from 7pm-9pm.
Matches will take place on Wednesday, June 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and July 3rd.
Suffolk FA Women & Girls’ Football Development Officer Isabel Chaplin, who is organising this year’s tournament alongside colleague Ruth Ward, said: “I am really looking forward to the return of Suffolk Sixes.
“It is a brilliant way to start pre-season but also for teams to prepare for the forthcoming campaign.”
