THE finalists are now known for this season’s Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup.

Beccles Town Reserves will take on Stowmarket Town U23s in the final at a venue and on a date to be decided.

Stowmarket Town reached the final for the fifth time in the last eight seasons thanks to a penalty shoot-out victory over Brantham Athletic U23s at AFC Sudbury in the semi-final on Friday night.

The two teams ended level at 2-2 after the 90 minutes, but Stowmarket won the subsequent penalty shoot-out 4-2 to progress.

The other semi-final on Friday evening at Framlingham Town FC saw Beccles Town Reserves beat Walsham-le-Willows U23s 3-0 to book their place in the final.

The result means Beccles Town Reserves will play in their fourth final in the last five seasons, having lost on all three previous occasions.
