THIRTEEN teams will contest this season’s Suffolk Sixes sponsored by McDonald’s.

The popular six-a-side female tournament gets under way on Wednesday.

The tournament is once again taking place at Copleston Sports Centre in Ipswich over five Wednesday evenings.

The teams taking part this year are as follows: Bacton United 89, Brantham Blue, FC Copenbadly, Framlingham Town, Goals Aloud, Ipswich Town Foundation, Ipswich Valley Rangers, Kesgrave Kestrels Ladies, Liquorice Allsports, Needham Market, Shambles United, Sunbed FC and The Legends.

Suffolk FA Women & Girls’ Football Development Officer Isabel Chaplin said: “I am really looking forward to Suffolk Sixes again this year. 

“With more teams entering this year, both new and existing, it promises to be a brilliant tournament once again!”
