THE new-look Suffolk FA Youth Council has produced its first newsletter.

The Youth Council, which is sponsored by R Bugg Trading Ltd, relaunched at the start of last season following Covid and came up with a new identity last autumn.

This new monthly newsletter, which can be read below, is the Youth Council’s opportunity to share information with Suffolk clubs with updates on what they have been working on.

Maddie Gardner, the Suffolk FA Youth Council Chair said: “The monthly newsletter provides us with an opportunity to announce the exciting opportunities and changes that we are working on, as well as allowing us to recognise and share success stories of our Youth heroes within the county, which will hopefully inspire both us and others alike.

“As a Youth Council we want to support everyone involved within the game and want to be recognised, allowing suggestions to be given to us and for people to have a chat if they see us around.

“We, as the Youth Council have created the monthly club newsletter which aims to reach out to clubs to provide updates on what is going on and which events they can get involved with, as well as identifying their Youth heroes who deserve recognition.

“We want to create a link with these clubs, which will inevitably support our work and help to make a difference in the long term.

“We are committed to supporting everyone and want to continue to strengthen connections and strive to make new ones.”

The Suffolk FA Youth Council are a team of young people aged between 16 and 25 from all different backgrounds and roles within football who meet regularly to discuss ideas and collate plans to improve the experience of the youth audience within Suffolk.

The Youth Council take onboard suggestions given and are given autonomy to come up with their own ideas.
