Portable Space to switch sponsorship
PORTABLE Space Ltd are to sponsor this season’s Suffolk Mixed Youth Cups.
The Bacton-based business sponsored last season’s Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup, a competition they previously sponsored in the 2020-21 campaign.
Portable Space Ltd, who are the leading UK supplier of shipping containers and conversions, portable cabins, modular buildings and steel storage containers, have switched their support to the Suffolk Mixed Youth Cups for the 2023-24 season.
The sponsorship will cover the Suffolk Mixed U18, U16, U15, U14, U13 and U12 Cups.
The agreement forms part of a partnership which will see Portable Space offer storage containers to Suffolk FA affiliated clubs at preferential rates.
Tracy Spurgeon, who is a sales consultant with Portable Space, said: “Being involved in our local community is incredibly important to us. We are confident that our diverse range of products, from toilets to food kiosks, can be of great benefit to local clubs.
“We believe that it’s not just about gaining support for our business, but also about giving back and helping others in our area.”
Tracy outlined why Portable Space like to support grassroots football.
“There's something truly special about grassroots football. It’s more than just a game – it’s a community, a place where local talent can shine, and players can focus on what they love most: developing their skills and having fun.
“The impact it has on lives is immeasurable, building confidence and creating a positive environment where everyone can thrive. It’s a great thing to see, and we are grateful to be a part of it.”
Tracy said Portable Space are looking forward to sponsoring this season’s Suffolk Mixed Youth Cups, which will run alongside the Suffolk Girls’ Youth Cups.
She said: “It’s amazing to be a part of such an incredible tournament that brings together families from all over Suffolk. The tournament provides a wonderful opportunity for young people aged 12 to 18 to not only compete but also thrive in a supportive environment – which is crucial for both their physical and mental well-being.”
Suffolk FA Marketing & Communications Officer Nick Garnham said: “We are delighted that Portable Space wish to continue their support of our county cup competitions for the 2023-24 season, and especially so that they have chosen to sponsor the Mixed Youth Cups.
“We look forward to working with Portable Space during the course of the season and encourage clubs to make use of the opportunities available through our partnership.”
