Senior Cup QF Draw Oct 2023

East Bergholt away to Cops in last eight

THE quarter-final draw has taken place for the Suffolk Senior Cup.

COPLESTONIANS will host East Bergholt in the quarter-finals of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.

With five sides in the draw, at least one all-Macron SIL tie was guaranteed, but the three other sides all avoided each other.

Cops, for whom Jonny Linard scored a hat-trick in their 3-2 win at Stowupland Falcons, will have home advantage against opponents who put out holders Framlingham Town.

Trimley Red Devils will be at home against AFC Sudbury Reserves, last season’s runners-up.

Haughley United will travel to Leiston U23s, who as Leiston Reserves were losing finalists two seasons ago.

Henley Athletic’s comeback win against Conard United has earned them a home tie against Bungay Town, who caused an upset with a 3-0 victory at Waveney in last Saturday’s second round.
