THE Veo Suffolk U18 Midweek Cup returns next week with eight first-round matches.

The first tie takes place on Monday when Haverhill Borough host Mildenhall Town.

Lowestoft Town then entertain Sporting 87 on Wednesday evening, before six further matches are scheduled for Thursday night.

These include last season’s runners-up Needham Market making the midweek journey to Kirkley & Pakefield.

Holders AFC Sudbury will play their match at Framlingham Town on Tuesday, October 24th as they are involved in the Third Qualifying Round of the FA Youth Cup next week along with Bury Town, who have a bye in the first round of the county cup competition.

The second round will take place in the week commencing November 20th. The nine first-round winners will be joined by seven teams who received a bye in round one.
