Epic shoot-out in Boys' U14 Plate tie
EIGHTEEN teams are through to this season’s Youth Cup and Plate Finals.
They all booked their places in their respective finals over the course of the weekend.
Matches were held at three venues – one at Haverhill Rovers FC on Friday night and the remainder split between Bungay Town FC and Walsham-le-Willows FC on Sunday.
There was an epic shoot-out in the Suffolk Boys’ Under-14 Plate competition, with Moreton Hall emerging 10-9 winners against Bury Town Colts following a 2-2 draw at Walsham. The players from Moreton Hall (blue shirts) and Bury Town Colts (orange shirts) are pictured above during the shoot-out.
In fact, all three Moreton Hall sides won their semi-finals, with both Haverhill Rovers and Woodbridge Town providing two winners.
Framlingham Town Knights (green & white hooped shirts) take on Trimley Red Devils SYFL (red shirts) during the Boys' Under-18 Cup Semi-Final at Bungay Town FC on Sunday. Trimley Red Devils won 3-1.
The remaining semi-finals are scheduled to take place this coming Sunday at Copleston High School and Whitton United FC.
The finals will take place at The New Croft in Haverhill on Sunday, May 14th.
