COPLESTONIANS ‘A’ won 9-8 on penalties to reach the Suffolk Primary Cup Semi-Finals.

COPLESTONIANS ‘A’ won 9-8 on penalties to reach the McDonald's Suffolk Primary Cup Semi-Finals.

They knocked out Assington Stanley in a sudden-death shoot-out after the two sides had drawn 1-1 in Saturday’s quarter-final tie to end the home team’s hopes of reaching the final in their first season.

Brantham Athletic ‘A’ won by the odd goal in seven at home to Framlingham Town ‘A’.

Coddenham Athletic added another scalp to the list of higher-league opponents they have beaten in this season’s competition when they won 2-1 at Walsham-le-Willows ‘A’.

However, Gipping Gnats won 4-2 at Somersham Reserves to avoid an upset against opponents who play two league below them.

The semi-final draw will be announced on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Non-League Hour on Thursday and simultaneously released via the Suffolk FA Twitter feed.
