Grounds Teams 2023 receive their prizes
WINNERS of the Suffolk FA Grounds Team of the Year 2023 sponsored by Jacobsen Ltd have been presented with their prizes.
The competition, which is open to clubs outside the National League System (those at Step 6 and above), was won by Simon Edwards (pictured above) of Ipswich Vale Exiles FC.
He was presented with his prize of £500 worth of vouchers to spend with Ernest Doe Ltd at the club’s ground at Bourne Vale Sports & Social Club.
Russell Haynes of Ransomes Sports FC
The runner-up was Russell Haynes of Ransomes Sports FC, who was presented with £300 worth of vouchers at their Sidegate Avenue headquarters.
In third place was the Bacton United 89 FC team of Bryan Symonds, Roger Lawson, Clive Larke and Neil Hitter. They were presented with £100 worth of vouchers at the club’s ground at Brickwall Meadow.
