“We’ve had new teams enter this year’s tournament and they really have added another dimension to the competition.

“The level and competitiveness of games is improving week on week, as well as year on year, plus there is a really positive and fun atmosphere at Sixes, which is a huge pleasure to be a part of and showcases what female football within Suffolk is about.

“Thank you again to all the teams and players who entered this year’s competition – it was great to see so many new faces, as well as the familiar players/teams who have been with us over the last couple of years.

“A huge shout out to all the referees who have officiated over the last five weeks, without them this wouldn’t run so thank you for giving up your time to help us deliver the competition.

“It’s been a really enjoyable few weeks and we are already looking forward to next year’s competition.”
