FOURTEEN sides will be playing for quarter-final spots in the Parkers Pitches Suffolk Junior Cup on Saturday.

Holders Stowupland Falcons are safely through to the last eight, after winning 2-0 at fellow Macron SIL Division One side Somersham last Saturday.

Seven more quarter-final berths are available, with last season’s three other semi-finalists all still in the hunt.

Mutford & Wrentham, losing finalists in each of the last two seasons, travel to Bramford Road Old Boys. Stanton (red shirts) are pictured in action above against Bramford Road Old Boys (yellow shirts) earlier this season.

Cavendish, who lost 3-1 to current Fosters Solicitors Anglian Combination Division Three leaders Mutford & Wrentham in last season’s semi-finals, are away to Spexhall Huntsman & Hounds.

Tattingstone United, who were knocked out 3-1 by Stowupland Falcons in the final four, are at AFC Kesgrave. Tattingstone top SIL Division One, with AFC Kesgrave in ninth.

There’s only one match scheduled for Sunday – the re-arranged MH Goals Suffolk Women’s Cup Quarter-Final between Beccles Town and Needham Market.

The winners will face East Bergholt United in the last four.

Cornard United will host Kirkley & Pakefield Royals in the quarter-finals of the Veo Suffolk Boys' Under-18 Midweek Cup, after their 4-1 victory over Beccles Town in Thursday night's second-round tie.
