Last-eight decided in the Sunday Trophy
THE quarter-final line-up is now complete for this season’s Best Badges Suffolk Sunday Trophy.
The seven third-round ties postponed a fortnight ago went ahead, with six of them settled inside the 90 minutes.
The only one that went to spot kicks saw Eye Saints win 5-4 on penalties at Spectre Leisure following a 1-1 draw.
Biggest winners of the day were Haverhill Ex-Servicemen’s Club, who won 9-1 at Thurston.
AFC Dragonfly, last season’s losing finalists, won 4-0 at home to Wincanton, while Barton Mills and Bury United also scored four times in reach the last eight.
AFC Sudbury Reserves will have a home tie versus holders Needham Market in the quarter-finals of this season’s MH Goals Suffolk Women’s Cup.
This follows their 13-0 victory over Framlingham Town in Sunday’s delayed second round tie.
