Trophy sides to try again this Sunday

FOURTEEN teams will try to play again in the Suffolk Sunday Trophy this weekend.

FOURTEEN teams will try again this weekend in the second round of this season’s Best Badges Suffolk Sunday Trophy.

The wet weather decimated the original third round date, with only one tie going ahead.

Chedburgh beat Bury Titans 4-3 to become the first side to progress to this season’s quarter-finals.

There is also one second-round match in the MH Goals Suffolk Women’s Cup taking place on Sunday.

Framlingham Town, who are a new side this season playing in the Suffolk Girls’ & Women’s League Championship, host AFC Sudbury Reserves.

The winners will have a home tie versus holders Needham Market in the quarter-finals.
