THE wet weather decimated the weekend’s scheduled county cup fixtures.

Just one of the eight third-round ties went ahead in the Best Badges Suffolk Sunday Trophy (pictured above).

Chedburgh came back from 2-0 down to beat Bury Titans 4-3 and so become the first side to book their place in this season’s quarter-finals.

The seven other matches will now be played on Sunday, December 17th.

There was one second-round match in the MH Goals Suffolk Women’s Cup, Stowupland Falcons defeating Ipswich Valley Rangers 11-0.

They will now be at home to Needham Market Women’s Development team in the quarter-finals in January.
