2021-22 final repeat in U18 Midweek Cup

THE quarter-final draw has been made for this season’s Suffolk Under-18 Midweek Cup.

THERE will be a repeat of the 2021-22 final in the quarter-finals of this season’s Veo Suffolk Under-18 Midweek Cup.

AFC Sudbury defeated Ipswich Town 3-2 in the final of the 2021-22 final at Colchester United FC.

Holders AFC Sudbury, who are aiming to win the cup for the eighth successive season, have been drawn at home against the county’s only professional club.

Walsham-le-Willows, who knocked out last season’s runners-up Needham Market, have been handed a home tie against Lowestoft Town.

Bury Town, who scored double-figures in the second round, will have home advantage again, this time against Leiston, the 2020-21 losing finalists.

Haverhill Rovers will travel to meet the winners of the outstanding second-round tie between Beccles Town and Stowmarket Town.

Veo Suffolk Under-18 Midweek Cup Quarter-Final Draw: AFC Sudbury v Ipswich Town U16s, Beccles Town or Stowmarket Town v Haverhill Rovers, Walsham-le-Willows v Lowestoft Town, Bury Town v Leiston.

Ties to be played week commencing February 26th 2024, kick-offs 7.45pm.
