Holders' away draw in Primary Cup tie

SPORTING 87 ‘A’ will meet holders Coddenham Athletic in this season’s Suffolk Primary Cup.

SPORTING 87 ‘A’ will meet holders Coddenham Athletic in the first round of this season’s McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup.

Coddenham, who defeated Gipping Gnats 4-3 on penalties following a 2-2 draw in the final at Colchester United FC, will visit Sporting 87 ‘A’ in the first round on October 21st. 

Gipping Gnats will also be away – they will travel to fellow Ipswich-based side Hope Church.

A total of 53 teams have entered this season’s competition, with 21 first-round ties and 11 teams getting a bye.
