Finalists receive Junior Cup byes

BOTH last season’s finalists will sit out the first round of the Suffolk Junior Cup.

Holders AFC Kesgrave and Mutford & Wrentham, who they defeated 3-1 in the final, are among 26 teams to receive a bye in round one of this season’s competition.

Stanton, who went out at the quarter-final stage last season to AFC Kesgrave, will be away to Bardwell Sports in one of six first-round ties.
