HOLDERS Needham Market will host Bury Town in the first round of this season’s Endeavour Automotive Suffolk Premier Cup.

The two teams will meet at Bloomfields, Needham’s home ground, next Tuesday, August 8th, kick-off 7.45pm.

The match is the only first-round tie in this season’s competition, with the winners away to Long Melford of the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division in round two.

Needham defeated Long Melford, who play two steps below them, 3-1 in the quarter-finals of last season’s competition.

Stowmarket Town, who the Marketmen beat 6-5 on penalties following a 3-3 draw in last season’s final at Bury Town FC, will be away to Kirkley & Pakefield in the second round.

Although draw out first, Ipswich Town will concede home advantage, meaning they will be away to AFC Sudbury in round two.
