Holders AFC Sudbury defeated Ipswich Town Under-16s 5-0 in their Veo Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup Semi-Final at Hadleigh United FC.

Their victory in last Thursday’s tie sets up a final against Needham Market when AFC Sudbury will be bidding for a seventh straight success in the competition.

Moreton Hall Youth Ferals have made it back-to-back appearances in the final of the Best Badges Suffolk Sunday Cup.

They edged a close contest 1-0 against Borussia Martlesham at Woodbridge Town FC on Sunday thanks to a second-half penalty.

AFC Sudbury and Moreton Hall Youth Ferals followed on from Beccles Town Reserves reaching the final of the Portable Space Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup a week ago, meaning 13 county cup finalists are now known.

Wednesday evening sees the second semi-final taking place in the Best Badges Suffolk Veterans’ Cup as Woodbridge Town travel to Ipswich Wanderers.

Th winners will face Haverhill Rovers in the final on ‘Super Sunday’ on April 23rd at Needham Market FC.
