Exciting partnership formed with The Hub

SUFFOLK FA and The Hub have created an exciting new partnership to benefit Suffolk football.

SUFFOLK FA and The Hub have created an exciting new partnership to benefit Suffolk football.

The Hub is run by Nino Severino, a former Olympic Coach and Programme Manager to Olympians, Official EIS World Class athletes and Great British Internationals, who has brought his knowledge and programmes to his home-town of Ipswich to support footballers – male, female, junior, disabled and senior – from clubs throughout the county.

Nino has a vast amount of experience working with professional athletes throughout the world to help them gain their physical edge against their competition and he has put together a high-class team and created The Hub.

Nino and his team approached Suffolk FA to create a partnership to provide Suffolk clubs access to the 100 plus years’ experience they have within the organisation to support and develop knowledge on strength & conditioning, nutrition and recovery amongst other aspects to increase performance within the local game.

One athlete who has benefited from the knowledge of The Hub is Martyn Waghorn, the former Ipswich Town FC player currently at Coventry City FC.

The Hub has put together a free of charge programme that will enable Suffolk clubs the opportunity to learn from The Hub’s experienced team and develop your own knowledge to take into your own sessions. These programmes will be based around:

  • U10 to Senior Footballers
  • Female Players
  • Referees
  • Disability Players
  • Goalkeepers

The Hub are running a ‘Hub Discovery Day’ at St Joseph’s College on December 10th or 11th from 11am to 1pm. If you are interested in signing up on either day please email nino@thehubsport.com to register your interest or click below.

Suffolk FA Football Development Officer (Retention) James Morley said: “We are very pleased and excited to be partnered with The Hub to offer this opportunity to clubs within Suffolk Football.
