Senior Cup QF Draw Nov 2022

Same-league sides all avoid each other

THE draw has been made for the quarter-finals of this season’s Suffolk Senior Cup.

CLUBS from the same leagues have avoided each other in the draw for the quarter-finals of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.

The three Thurlow Nunn League Division One North sides were kept apart from each other as were the four Macron SIL Senior Division teams in the last-eight draw.

Reigning SIL Senior Division champions and current leaders Henley Athletic will be away to Framlingham Town, who are currently second in Thurlow Nunn League Division One North.

The other two Thurlow Nunn League sides will both be away to SIL opposition – Haverhill Borough will travel to Halesworth Town and AFC Sudbury Reserves will visit Ipswich-based Ransomes Sports.

Claydon, the fourth SIL representatives, face a trip to Anglian Combination Premier Division side Beccles Town.

The draw was released simultaneously on Thursday night on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Non-League Hour and the Suffolk FA Twitter feed.
