A NEW café will be opening this weekend at Barnards Soccer Centre in Lowestoft.
Suffolk FA have taken over the tenancy of the centre, which closed earlier this year after Sentinel Leisure Trust ceased trading.
The centre is being brought back to life, with the Coffee Rush @ the dugout café set to open seven days/evenings a week.
Matt Stebbings, who is Suffolk FA Football Development Manager and Facilities & Investment Lead, said: “The machine and grinder have now been installed.
“A deep clean over will be taking place over the next couple of days before the café opens for drinks this weekend.
“Over the following week the café will be adding to the menu; they will listen to what our customers would like from a simple something to a full breakfast. Bacon rolls, burgers, toasties, Paninis and wraps are all things the café will be able to provide.”
