Premier Cup SF Draw March 2022

Holders to face Kirkley in semis

KIRKLEY & Pakefield will face holders Needham Market in the Suffolk Premier Cup Semi-Finals.

KIRKLEY & Pakefield will face holders Needham Market in the Turners Hyundai Suffolk Premier Cup Semi-Finals.

The Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division side – the sole remaining Step 5 representatives in this season’s competition – defeated Felixstowe & Walton United 4-0 in their quarter-final on Tuesday.

It will be another tough task for Jack Herbert’s side if they are to reach their first-ever Suffolk Premier Cup Final against opponents who play two leagues higher at Step 3 and were 2-0 winners at Woodbridge Town in the last eight.

The match will take place at the Watson & Hillhouse Victory Road Stadium, home of Leiston FC, on Tuesday, April 12th, kick-off 7.45pm.

The other tie will be between Step 4 Stowmarket Town and Leiston, who play at Step 3.

Both sides had wins away to Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division sides in the quarter-finals – Stowmarket winning 3-0 at Lakenheath and Leiston 1-0 at Mildenhall Town on Tuesday, meaning all four matches were won by the away sides.

The tie will be held at Bloomfields, home of Needham Market FC, on Wednesday, March 30th, kick-off 7.45pm.
