WHITTON United will contest their fourth consecutive Best Badges Suffolk Veterans’ Cup Final.

Buoyed by a goal inside the first minute, Whitton beat old rivals Woodbridge Town, who they have defeated in each of the previous three finals, 2-1 in Sunday’s semi-final.

Their opponents in the final will be Laxfield, who edged past Moreton Hall 96 2-1 and will now be making their debut in the final of the competition.

AFC Claydon now know that they will contest the Suffolk Sunday Trophy Final against Bacton United 89, who overcame Chantry Phoenix 4-2 at home. Both teams will be making their first appearance in the final.
