First-time finalist is guaranteed in cup
A FIRST-TIME finalist is guaranteed in this season’s Best Badges Suffolk Veterans’ Cup.
The semi-final draw has pitted Whitton United against Woodbridge Town, the two teams who have met in the last three finals. Whitton have won each of those finals.
It means that Walsham-le-Willows will host Lowestoft Town, neither of whom have ever reached the final before, in the other semi-final tie.
The draw was broadcast on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Non-League Hour on Thursday night simultaneously with being announced via the Suffolk FA Twitter feed.
