Top-ranked sides avoid each other
THE highest-ranked sides remaining in this season’s Turners Hyundai Suffolk Premier Cup have avoided each other in the quarter-final draw.
The five remaining Step 3 and 4 teams have all been drawn against Step 5 opponents from the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division.
Lakenheath, who are playing in the competition for the first time this season, have been handed a home tie against Step 4 Stowmarket Town.
After knocking out Step 4 side AFC Sudbury, Mildenhall Town have now been drawn at home to Leiston from Step 3.
The winners of the tie between Haverhill Rovers and Woodbridge Town, who will now play their delayed second-round tie on Wednesday, March 9th, will host the holders Needham Market, who play at Step 3.
Kirkley & Pakefield will travel to face Step 4 opposition in the form of either Bury Town or Felixstowe & Walton United, who play their rearranged second-round tie on Tuesday, March 8th.

The draw was broadcast on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Non-League Hour on Thursday night and simultaneously via the Suffolk FA Twitter feed.
