THREE of the Turners Hyundai Suffolk Premier Cup ties postponed this week have now been rescheduled.
Only two of the seven matches on Tuesday evening went ahead after heavy rain left the pitches at five grounds waterlogged, while the remaining tie on Wednesday also fell foul of the wet weather.
The second-round ties to be re-arranged so far are as follows:
Wednesday, February 23rd: Ipswich Town XI v Stowmarket Town at Stowmarket Town FC (7.45pm).
Tuesday, March 1st: Haverhill Rovers v Woodbridge Town (7.45pm).
Tuesday, March 8th: Bury Town v Felixstowe & Walton United (7.45pm).
New dates have yet to be confirmed for the following three ties – Hadleigh United v Lakenheath, Leiston v Brantham Athletic and Needham Market v Walsham-le-Willows.
The two matches that did go ahead on Tuesday saw Mildenhall Town win 1-0 at AFC Sudbury and Kirkley & Pakefield defeat Long Melford 3-1- at home to reach this season’s quarter-finals.
