Invite to England Accreditation event

SUFFOLK clubs and leagues are invited to attend an online England Accreditation session.

SUFFOLK clubs and leagues are invited to attend an online England Accreditation session.

The session, which will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, March 2nd 2022 via Teams, will provide information on the transition from Charter Standard to England Accreditation.

Over the course of the last couple of seasons, work has been undertaken by The FA to review Charter Standard and whether it was still fit for purpose in 2021-22.

Following the review, the decision was made to overhaul the accreditation process and create England Football.

Clubs and leagues now cater for players aged from aged six to 35+ and the new accreditation is based on pathways for boys, girls and disability teams to reflect the ages and numbers of teams which are currently playing.

The information evening will take those in attendance through the new criteria, what the pathways mean, how a club achieves a pathway, what the new portal and club management system looks like and how clubs don’t currently have their accreditation can apply through the system.

Suffolk FA Football Development Officer (Retention) James Morley said: “We would like all accredited clubs and leagues to send a representative to the session to learn more and understand the transition.

“To sign up for the evening, please click the link below and complete the online form, once the form has been completed, you will be sent a link to join the meeting.

“If you want multiple people from your club or league to attend, please complete the form once per attendee with their information.”

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to James Morley via email at james.morley@suffolkfa.com or call 07976 957094.
