BRITISH Sugar TOPSOIL have extended their sponsorship of Suffolk FA to a third season.

The Suffolk FA Grounds Support Programme, sponsored by British Sugar TOPSOIL, was first established for the 2020-21 season

Through the partnership British Sugar TOPSOIL are offering Suffolk clubs 10 per cent off their Sports&Turf topdressing product.

Groundsmen were also able to attend a topdressing demonstration, which was held at the Victory Ground in Bury St Edmunds and take part in a visit to the nearby Bury St Edmunds Sugar factory last season.

TOPSOIL Sales Manager Natalie Gudgin said: “British Sugar TOPSOIL are proud to be continuing their sponsorship with Suffolk FA for the 2022-23 season.

“Having the opportunity to host events over the last year and meet up with people from local clubs has been particularly enjoyable. We look forward to offering our knowledge and expertise for this coming year.”

Suffolk FA Football Development Manager Matt Stebbings said: “The partnership with British Sugar TOPSOIL and Suffolk Football gives clubs the opportunity to really invest and improve their playing surfaces. We look forward to continuing it.

“If clubs wish to find out more about what funding is available to improve their grass pitches then get in touch and we can come out and help assess the quality of pitches and open up funding opportunities.”
