The final will be between Kesgrave Kestrels and Bardwell Sports, neither of whom have ever reached the final before.

They will meet at the Jobserve Community Stadium, home of Colchester United FC, on Saturday, May 7th, kick-off 12 noon.

Kesgrave Kestrels defeated Framlingham Town ‘A’ 2-1 at Ipswich Wanderers FC on Friday night to book their place in the final.

Then on Saturday afternoon it was Bardwell Sports who edged past Wickham Market Reserves 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out after a goalless draw at Framlingham Town FC.

Bardwell’s 17-year-old goalkeeper Cam Clarke is pictured saving in the penalty shoot-out from Tyler Ward of Wickham Market Reserves. This proved decisive as all other nine penalties were converted.

Both teams play in Division Three of the Macron SIL – Kesgrave Kestrels currently top the table, while Bardwell sit third seven points behind but with three games in hand.
