LEISTON lost the toss for choice of changing rooms for both their county cup finals.

Needham Market will have the home changing room at the Jobserve Community Stadium for Thursday’s Turners Hyundai Suffolk Premier Cup Final, kick-off 7.30pm.

And Ipswich Wanderers, who play Leiston Reserves in the CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup Final, will be in the home changing room for their final on Friday, May 13th.

The choice of changing rooms was decided during an information evening on Tuesday for those clubs who will be taking part in this season’s Suffolk FA County Cup Finals at Colchester United FC.

Teams winning the toss were given first choice of the home changing room or, in the case of a colour clash, if they would rather wear their first-choice strip and use the away changing room.

All those who won the toss chose the home changing room, with only Ipswich Wanderers, who will play in all-white, having to wear their change strip.

Ipswich Town Under-16s sportingly did not contest the toss, allowing Suffolk Under-18 Midweek Cup Final opponents AFC Sudbury to have the home changing room.

With the McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup Semi-Finals taking place on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, it was agreed to wait until after Saturday’s last-four tie at Framlingham Town FC before the toss takes place.

Each club was invited to send along two representatives who were given a tour of the hospitality suites and changing rooms and taken down on to the pitch.

The use of changing rooms and team colours will be as follows:

Thursday, April 21st 2022 – Turners Hyundai Premier Cup Final, kick-off 7.30pm

Home changing room – Needham Market. Colours – Red shirts, black shorts, black socks.

Away changing room – Leiston. Colours – Blue shirts, blue shorts, red socks.

Thursday, May 5th 2022 – Suffolk U18s Midweek Cup Final, kick-off 7.30pm

Home changing room – AFC Sudbury. Colours – Yellow shirts, blue shorts, yellow socks.

Away changing room – Ipswich Town Under-16s. Colours – Blue shirts, white shorts, blue socks. 

Friday, May 6th 2022 – Suffolk Women’s Cup Final, kick-off 7.30pm

Home changing room – AFC Sudbury. Colours – Yellow shirts, yellow shorts, yellow socks.

Away changing room – Needham Market. Colours – Red shirts, black shorts, red socks.

Saturday, May 7th 2022 – McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup Final, kick-off 12 noon

Finalists yet to be confirmed.

Saturday, May 7th 2022 – Parkers Pitches Suffolk Junior Cup Final, kick-off 5pm

Home changing room – Stowupland Falcons. Colours – Yellow shirts, blue shorts, blue socks.

Away changing room – Mutford & Wrentham. Colours – White shirts, black shorts, black socks.
