Eight first-round Women's Cup ties
THE first-round draw has taken place for this season’s Suffolk Women’s Cup.
With 24 teams entered into the competition for the 2021-22 season, there will be eight first-round ties, with a further eight teams receiving a bye.
Last season's losing finalists Needham Market will be at home to Mildenhall Town. Needham (red shirts) are pictured conceding a goal against Ipswich Town (blue shirts) in last season's final. Ipswich won the final 6-0 at AFC Sudbury.
Suffolk Women’s Cup First-Round Draw: Haverhill Rovers Ladies Community v AFC Sudbury, AFC Sudbury Res v East Bergholt Utd, Leiston St Margarets v Haverhill Rovers, Needham Market v Mildenhall Town, Needham Market Res v Kesgrave Kestrels, Bungay Town v Chantry Grasshoppers, Henley Athletic v Stowupland Falcons, Brett Vale v Bury Town.
Byes: AFC Kesgrave, Beccles Town, Brantham Athletic, East Bergholt Utd Res, Halesworth Town, Ipswich Town Development, Waveney, Woodbridge Town.
Ties to be played on Sunday, September 19th, kick-offs 2.30pm.
