HOLDERS Bramford United are through to the second round of the Suffolk Primary Cup.

HOLDERS Bramford United are through to the second round of the McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup.

Bramford United won 2-1 at AFC Oulton in Saturday’s first-round tie to progress along with Laxfield, the side they defeated in last season’s final.

Laxfield were 6-0 winners away to Kessingland Development. Sporting 87 Reserves and Hope Church each scored six times, while Bardwell Sports went one better, and Bacton United 89 Reserves struck double figures.

Three tries went to penalty shoot-outs, with Framlingham Town ‘A’, Palgrave Wanderers and Thurlow all going through.
