Total Football sign new partnership
WHEN KAREN Cornforth took over Total Football she employed one member of staff.
Seven years on the independent Ipswich-based business now has six full-time and three part-time members of staff.
Total Football has also moved from its humble home near Ipswich docks to larger premises on Ransomes Europark on the edge of town.
Throughout their journey Total Football has been entwined with Suffolk FA as the recognised partner for team wear, printing and embroidery.
Total Football has just agreed a new three-year contract to continue to supply the County FA, which will see the shop offer discounts on team wear, referees’ kit and footballs to Suffolk FA affiliated clubs and leagues.
Karen Cornforth said: “We didn’t need a second invitation to sign up for another three years as the recognised partner of Suffolk FA for team wear, printing and embroidery.
“The partnership worked well over the previous three years and we will look to continue in much the same vein going forwards.”
Suffolk FA Chief Executive Richard Neal said: “To be a part of Total Football's development over the time of our partnership has been fantastic for both parties, and I’m delighted this will continue for another three years.
“Central to our relationship is a shared love of the grassroots game in Suffolk, and a joint ambition to see it revive from the pandemic and thrive thereon.”
Total Football has the contract to print the replica Ed Sheeran shirts for Ipswich Town and also the club’s Academy shirts.
Karen continued: “I am an Ipswich Town fan, so it is lovely to have that association with the club and also the fact that they are supporting us as a local business.
“However, our core business is supplying grassroots clubs and we look forward to continue working with them in the future.”
