THE third-round draw has been made for the Best Badges Suffolk Veterans’ Cup.

Spexhall Huntsman & Hounds have been tasked with trying to become the first team to defeat Woodbridge Town other than in the final itself since the Woodpeckers lost 2-0 to eventual winners Capel Plough on December 1st 2013.

Capel Plough will be away to the winners of the second-round tie between Bury Town and Bury Town Reserves which was postponed on Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch.

Lowestoft Town will entertain AFC Hoxne, who lost 4-1 to Woodbridge Town in the 2017-18 final, while holders Whitton United will have to wait to see if they will face BOCA Norman Warriors or Waveney Athletic.

Ties to be played on Sunday, January 23rd 2022, kick-offs 2pm.
