The Macron SIL Senior Division side defeated their Thurlow Nunn League Division One South visitors 2-1 at Gandish Road.

Both Sudbury sides in this season’s competition progressed, with Sudbury Sports, who play in the Essex & Suffolk Border League Premier Division, triumphing 3-1 at Coplestonians.

However, Felixstowe & Walton United Reserves of the ESBL were humbled 6-2 at SIL opponents Old Newton United.

Waveney, the 2015-16 winners, returned from Brandon Town with a 2-1 victory, while fellow Anglian Combination Premier Division outfit Beccles Town won 2-1 at Haughley United.
