TSBC partnership to help support clubs

SUFFOLK FA have partnered with The Sports Business Club to help support grassroots clubs.

SUFFOLK FA have partnered with The Sports Business Club (TSBC) to help support grassroots clubs.

TSBC was started in Kent with the intention to network businesses together whilst supporting a local grassroots football club.

However, it was such a success that the scheme went nationwide to help other grassroots clubs, of any sport, business, homeless and mental health charities and other community projects across the UK.

Ambassadors from the sporting world have got involved by supporting academies, clubs, individual careers and businesses.

TSBC aim to make business networking fun, a change from the usual business networking scenes and to create network meetings that are something to look forward to.

Jen Lowe, Club & Charity Liaison Director at TSBC, said: Our goal is to provide a unique and extendable business network where we help local businesses to thrive by driving like-minded enterprises to work together whilst at the same time providing much-needed commercial help to local sports clubs”.

There are two levels of membership that business can sign up to, with the club of their choice benefiting directly as a result of their membership.

Depending on the level of membership, your business can access three or five virtual business meetings per month. Companies will also be promoted via TSBC social media accounts.

A £600 membership will result in a £100 donation to the club of their choice, a £850 membership will secure a £150 donation.

If a business joins but doesn’t choose a particular club to benefit, the money will go towards helping other clubs in need.

When a club refers a business that subsequently joins TSBC, the club will receive £50 in commission.

The club also benefits by being able to host networking events, with the chance to meet business members who may be interested in working with the club, who will also receive promotion via TSBC social media accounts.

More than 60 businesses across the country have signed up to TSBC so far, with more than £6,000 having been distributed back to local sports clubs since they launched in September last year.

Following the success of the business networking club, TSBC have recently launched their Club Support Pack which is designed to offer every service needed to run a sports club in the UK.
