Reserve sides all receive home ties
ALL three remaining Reserve teams have been drawn at home in the quarter-finals of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.
Leiston Reserves and AFC Sudbury Reserves both won penalty shoot-outs to reach the last eight.
Beccles Town, who last won the cup in the 2008-09 season, will travel to Leiston Reserves.
Meanwhile, AFC Sudbury Reserves await the winners of the tie between Waveney and Old Newton United which was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch last weekend and has been re-arranged for Saturday, January 8th 2022.
Needham Market Reserves will host either Sudbury Sports or East Bergholt United, who meet this Saturday.
The other tie will see Ipswich Wanderers and Henley Athletic renew rivalries, after the two teams met in the semi-final of the 2019-20 competition.
Wanderers won 2-1 at Whitton United FC en route to lifting the trophy and they will now face each other again in the last eight of this season’s competition.
The draw was broadcast simultaneously on BBC Radio Suffolk’s Non-League Hour on the Thursday Night Sports Social and via the Suffolk FA Twitter feed.
