THE draw has been made for the quarter-finals of the Parkers Pitches Suffolk Junior Cup.

Wickham Market, after a bye and two home draws, will be on the road for the first time in this season’s competition, away to holders and fellow Macon SIL Division One side Stowupland Falcons.

Melton United, who have scored ten goals in their three ties so far, will be away to Essex & Suffolk Border League side Cavendish, who reached the last eight after winning a penalty shoot-out at Elmswell.

Last season’s runners-up Mutford & Wrentham, who play in the Anglian Combination League, will have home advantage against SIL Division Two opponents Cockfield United.

Sporting 87 will play the winners of the tie between Thurston and Tattingstone United due to take place on Saturday, December 18th.

It is the third time in as many rounds that Sporting 87 have been drawn at home in this season’s competition.
