Boys U18 Midweek Cup draw Aug 2020

Sporting 87 to host Ipswich Town in cup

THE first and second round draws have been made for the Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup.

SPORTING 87 will entertain Ipswich Town in the first round of this season’s Blue Square Solutions Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup.

It will be a big test for Sporting 87 against Ipswich Town’s Under-16s when the competition kick-offs in late September.

AFC Sudbury, who have won the competition in each of the last four completed seasons – the 2019-20 competition was not completed due to the coronavirus pandemic – will be away to Mildenhall Town in round one.

Seven teams received a bye into the second round draw.

Players from AFC Sudbury are pictured above receiving their medals following their 4-1 victory over Walsham-le-Willows in the 2018-19 final at Portman Road.
