MATCHES are scheduled across four different county cup competitions this weekend.

With the delayed 2019-20 county cup finals now all complete, the focus firmly falls on this season’s competitions.

There is one second round tie in the CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup on Saturday as Brantham Athletic host Ransomes Sports.

Brantham Athletic Reserves, who were semi-finalists in this competition in the 2017-18 season, play in the Premier Division of the Essex & Suffolk Border League.

Their visitors are playing in the Senior Cup for the first time in several seasons following their promotion back to the Macron SIL Senior Division side at the end of last season.

Two matches are taking place in the first round of the Portable Space Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup on Saturday afternoon.

There’s an all-SIL clash between Division B side Halesworth Town and Crane Sports, who play in Division Four. The other tie sees Haverhill Rovers at home to SIL Division A side Henley Athletic.

Similarly, there are two fixtures in the McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup First Round – Cavendish entertain Bramford United and Kesgrave Kestrels entertain Redgrave Rangers.

The only match scheduled for Sunday is in the second round of the Suffolk Veterans’ Cup as Suffolk Police and Aldeburgh Town replay their tie that was abandoned due a fortnight ago due to a broken leg.
