VEO have extended their partnership with Suffolk FA by becoming a sponsor.

The Denmark-based company, who provide a portable solution to recording and analysing matches, originally partnered with Suffolk FA at the start of the current season.

However, Veo have now agreed to extend their association to be a sponsor for the next four years.

Veo will sponsor the Suffolk Sunday Shield for the 2020-21 season and next summer’s Suffolk Sixes, the female six-a-side summer tournament.

The competition was suspended during 2020 because of COVID-19 but is due to return next summer.

Veo Partnership Development Manager (UK) Sioned Roberts said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership and sponsor Suffolk FA.

“We believe our technology will improve players, coaches, and experiences allowing every player to see themselves in action.

“Suffolk FA's vision of ‘A Thriving Local Game’ aligns well with our aim to make capturing and analysing football accessible to all players. We can’t wait to see your Veo moments!”

Suffolk FA Marketing & Communications Officer Nick Garnham said: “We are delighted that Veo wish to extend their partnership with us and sponsor both the Veo Suffolk Sunday Shield and the Veo Suffolk Sixes.

“The advent of social media has presented opportunities for clubs at all levels, from our National League System clubs to Sunday morning sides, to film their matches and use highlight clips to showcase themselves.

“The goal scored by Liam Scopes from a 45-yard free-kick last month for Woodbridge Town versus Kirkley & Pakefield, filmed using a Veo camera, has been viewed a combined total of around 39,000 times via Twitter and the club’s Youtube channel!

“That’s a massive number of potential customers that the club is opening itself up to thanks to Veo.

“The filming of matches is a growing market and we are confident that our partnership with Veo, who are offering a £100 discount to Suffolk clubs purchasing one of their cameras, will go from strength-to-strength.”

Watch out for our upcoming competition in which clubs can win the loan of a Veo camera for a whole month.
