Brantham to meet Ipswich Town again

THE second-round draw has taken place for this season’s Suffolk Women’s Cup.

THE second-round draw has taken place for this season’s HomeStore Self Storage Suffolk Women’s Cup.

AFC Sudbury, who in the 2013-14 season became the only side to win the cup other than Ipswich Town in the past nine years, will be away to Needham Market, the 2018-19 losing finalists.

Brantham Athletic and holders Ipswich Town, who have faced off in the quarter-finals in each of the last two seasons, will meet again in the last 16 of this season’s competition.

Brett Vale, the 2019-20 runners-up, will travel to Bury Town, while both East Bergholt United sides have been handed home draws.

The second round was originally set for Sunday, November 22nd, but will now need to be rescheduled because of the suspension of matches due to lockdown restrictions.
