Four Thurlow Nunn sides drawn away

THE draw has been made for the third round of the Suffolk Senior Cup.

FOUR of the five remaining Thurlow Nunn League sides in this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup face away ties in the third round.

Only Framlingham Town, who will host Henley Athletic, have been drawn at home, although both Haverhill Borough and Ipswich Wanderers have yet to play their second-round matches.

Borough must first beat Claydon if they are to travel to Trimley Red Devils, while Wanderers have to overcome Bourne Vale United for the right to visit East Bergholt United.

Macron SIL side Haughley United will entertain Lakenheath and AFC Sudbury Reserves will be away to Bungay Town Anglian Combination Division One outfit Bungay Town.

There are two all-SIL fixtures – Benhall St Mary versus Halesworth Town and Ransomes Sports against Bildeston Rangers – while another SIL Senior Division Side, Leiston St Margarets, will welcome Anglian Combination Premier Division side Beccles Town.

The date of the third round was originally on Saturday, November 21st, but will now need to be rescheduled because of the suspension of matches due to lockdown restrictions.
